Play Place in New Addington

We offer a range of specialised activities in New Addington, tailored to meet the needs of young people and families. Our approach focuses on providing effective and practical solutions within our community.

Our Work in New Addington

Throughout New Addington, Play Place is proud to deliver meaningful youth work that supports, inspires, and connects young people within the community. Our sessions are designed to create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can grow, build friendships, and explore new opportunities.

Multi-Sports Sessions
In partnership with the Palace for Life Foundation, we run two exciting multi-sports sessions for local young people. On Mondays, we host a mixed session that welcomes everyone to get active, have fun, and be part of a positive community environment. On Tuesdays, we offer a girls-only football session—providing a safe and supportive space where girls can express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy sport together.

Croydon Auto Bike Scheme Youth Club
The Croydon Auto Bike Scheme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to learn practical skills in a supportive setting. Guided by our dedicated youth workers and a qualified senior mechanic, young people can learn how to fix and maintain motorbikes—and for those who prefer, pedal bikes too! Beyond the workshop, we also provide a relaxed, safe space where young people can spend time with friends and feel part of a welcoming community.

Fieldway Youth Club
Our Fieldway Youth Club runs every Thursday in partnership with the Palace for Life Foundation. This vibrant session offers young people a safe place to come together, have fun, and access a range of great resources including gaming, table tennis, arts and crafts, and much more. It’s a place to belong, try new things, and make lasting memories.

Outreach and Detached Youth Work

Our team is actively present in the local community, delivering specialised outreach and detached youth work. This approach allows us to meet young people where they are, building trusted relationships and offering support when it’s needed most. Equipped with our outreach van, stocked with engaging resources and equipment, we create opportunities for meaningful connections. While there are set days for this work, we remain flexible to respond to the changing needs of the community.
